Kandahar 2023 Movie Trailer Poster Release Date

Open Road has released a new trailer for the upcoming action thriller film, “Kandahar”, directed by Gerard Butler. The film will be released on Memorial Day weekend, specifically on May 26.


"Kandahar" reunites Butler with director Ric Roman Waugh, following his collaboration on Lionsgate's 2019 action thriller "Angel Has Fallen" and STXfilms' 2020 action thriller "Greenland." The film tells the story of undercover CIA agent Tom Harris, played by Butler, who gets trapped in hostile territory in Afghanistan. When his mission is exposed, Harris must navigate his way out, accompanied by his Afghan translator, to an extraction point in Kandahar.
