The rest are a blur. There is Sidharth Nigam-Raghav Juyal-Jassi Gill as Bhai's younger brothers. There are Shehnaaz Gill-Palak Tiwari-Vinali Bhatnagar, as her girlfriends. These should be seen only in groups of three or six, depending on the requirements of the scene.
Stars:- Salman Khan,Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh Daggubati
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, the righteous and invincible male lead has three brothers whom he adores and a lover whose family he vows to protect at all costs. That's quite a burden to carry on a film as thin as this. Lead actor Salman Khan takes responsibility, pulls out the stops, and splits his Bhaijaan persona in two.
In the first half, the lead actor sports long flowing hair and talks nonsense about brotherly love and social duty. In the second, he has a short mop, but continues to trot out trivia about violence and non-violence as the action shifts to a family's sprawling home in South India.
No matter what the star does, and no matter what the crowd of actors around him tries, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan doesn't generate a single moment that could be considered passably entertaining. Even the movie's action sequences, there are many of them, can't break free from the yoke of monotony.
Writing scrapes the bottom of the barrel. The acting fares no better even though Venkatesh Daggubati as the epitome of virtue and Jagapathi Babu as malevolence personified step into the gap in an attempt to rescue the film from its catchy monotony and inject a raucous, old-fashioned melodrama of good vs. evil in proceedings.
Silly and slow, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is the kind of Mumbai movie that can put an overflowing garbage can to shame. Its main premise is based on a man's decision not to get married because he fears that the arrival of a woman in his life will destroy the deep bond with his brothers.
The idea is embarrassing all the way, If you're thinking of a variation on Satte Pe Satte, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is definitely not Chauke Pe Chauka. In any case, it should have been titled At Sixes and Sevens.
Farhad Samji, known for unintentionally doing comedy without focusing on comedy itself, which is what happened with Kisi ka bhai kisi ki jaan, even salman khan's mega stardom couldn't save the film to become a complete disappointment.
